China Energy Transformation Programme

The China Energy Transformation Research Programme, the CET, which is jointly funded by the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) and the government of Denmark, and carried out by the Energy Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Macroeconomic Research (ERI of AMR) and Chinese and international partners. The program runs from 2021 to 2025. The international partners include the Danish Energy Agency (DEA), the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD), and the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University SIPA (CGEP).

Our newsletter

ERI, DEA, NORAD and CGEP jointly monitor and assess China’s ongoing energy policy developments and energy transition statistics, including renewable energy, coal transition, power market reform, power system flexibility, and power grid development. As part of this monitoring, the program publishes the monthly China Energy Policy Newsletter.
